The place was really clean and the lady at the counter was really nice and friendly. The food was amazing and not oily. Its our first time getting food from King Garden and I highly recommended!!!
Basic atmosphere not really meant to dine in. Coming from Philly I really dislike most of the Chinese stores in Delaware. They don’t deliver and closed a day during the week, close early, and the food taste mediocre at best.But this Chinese store met my expectations and the food is good. The only downside is they are closed on Tuesdays, but are open the rest of the week.
This is the only Chinese food place I go to in NewCastle. It's a family outfit and you can tell, which is endearing in its own right. Elaine, the matriarch of the place, is the coolest. Her and her family are small business owners and operators and they all work hard to make great food and it shows. ALWAYS highly recommend it.
To start service was a 10/10 for me as well as how the owner treated the others in the store. Food was amazing, chicken fried perfect, and the shrimp fried rice had really nice sized shrimps. Very clean inside. Very hard finding quality Chinese food paired with good homey service. 10/10 recommend and will be back soon!
Kudos to this new discovery! I have found my new Chinese food take out spot! Their wings are definitely the star of the show. The portion sizes are more than enough; i have not been able to finish a meal in one sitting yet. There are no dine in options, but the staff are friendly and usually very with my order. Even the next day, the food still tasted just as good.
It’s my go-to Chinese takeout spot whenever we’re up in Delaware visiting family. The owner is extremely kind and the food is always excellent.
The food is very fresh and tasty! And the service is pleasant and friendly. I’m hooked. I’m from Philly and ended up running into someone else from there. Chinese food is big in our neighborhoods and we’re really selective about it. This place definitely met my expectations.
